4 years later..

Subsequent to my last entry, I have visited Seoul every year..

Every year I come back to Seoul, I left with good memories, even more memorable and grateful each time..

Every time I come back to visit Seoul, I always have my Korean friends picking me up from the airport.. even though they could not get the car.. and they did not say it straightforwardly, but I know they try to make time to hangout with me for lunch or dinner cos they know I am here alone, always πŸ™‚ and they know I would be eating bread sometimes, if I were to be alone..

Its been 4 years since I last read the old entries… and those were really good times.

So much have changed.. Erika is now happily married with her Korean husband, Tae Hun has went to Seattle and back, now graduated and ready to find a job, Tae Yeon has been going through a difficult time, but always been helping me whenever I needed in Korea.. and even though I do not catch up with Kyung Ho very often, I come to realise our friendship is truly amazing, I began to appreciate him more and it warms my heart to know he treasures our friendship too!

This trip, has been a really fruitful one and I wana blog it because I wana remember this in future!

This Spring, has been hot and cold, all within my 9 days in Seoul.

I have had plans to do a photoshoot right here in Seoul after my sourcing trip because there are just tooooo many awesome places that we do not get in Singapore! I decided to ask my friends for a favor, and we managed to get the shoot done, with their voluntary help too!

I am really grateful for their help.. here’s some behind-the-scenes!

TY’s brilliant idea – hanging the clothes on this big long stick. its amazing how he could just find it near the subway station! and even showed survivor skills..by breaking it into two with some karate-like skills.. because the stick was way too long..

TH then came later due to a job interview he had to go earlier in the morning.. and they combined forces, to become a “walking wardrobe”. they had to do this throughout the whole shoot! (it was about 6 hours btw, with small lunch and tea breaks in between but, still) i know their shoulders almost broke 😦

We were skeptical about the model at first, but it turned out that she worked really well πŸ™‚ I was really satisfied and gave her a pair of heels free cos her own pair broke after the shoot! ><

After the shoot (finally everyone’s eyes were glowing with happiness esp my tired friends!), the 4 of us decided to have a good meal (with some beer)! We randomly walked into a 고기집, and the food was DELICIOUS MAX priest! I (we in fact) totally loved the κ³„λž€μ°œ and..basically everything was great. The guys had like 2 bowls of rice each! Everyone must be so tired and hungry from all the torturing work ><

There was also a ridiculously funny + awkward moment between TY and me when he tried to offer the last bit of κ³„λž€μ°œ to me.. lol really. It was the first time all of us broke into such big laughter!

I should have taken photos of all these.. but i think i always happen to not do so because im hanging out with guys.. and i somehow then become half a guy. yes like tomboy.

Not forgetting my lovely Japanese friend Erika! Who’s always been helping me with my accommodation booking ^^ my old neighbor! (now that she’s moved to a new place with her husband)

Thank you all for always making me feel warm and at home! Seoul is almost like a second home to me, somewhere I always feel comfortable to be in, whenever I am away from Singapore.

I look forward to many many years of great friendship to come!
